trauma triggers, or intense stress. It is not medical advice and not a substitute for professional care.

If tracking the dot makes you feel worse, stop and switch to something gentler (look around the room, feel your feet on the floor, sip water).
Try shorter sessions (15–60 seconds) and slower speed if you feel overwhelmed.
About EMDR
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a clinician-delivered psychotherapy that can include guided bilateral stimulation (often eye movements).
This website is not EMDR and has not been clinically tested as a standalone treatment.
